STORM DRAIN REPAIR AND INSTALLATION
Storm drains should be checked on a regular basis because they can deteriorate within, and the deterioration is not easily visible. A catch basin collapse can leave a large hole that poses a severe liability to the property owner.

If caught early, catch basins can be repaired by removing the cover and replacing bricks that have fallen away. Drain tops can also be replaced with new ones, if necessary.

Entire catch basins can be installed using brick and mortar, or in many cases concrete catch basins are the best and cheapest solution. Prefabricated boxes can be ordered and placed on a crushed stone bed.

For custom installations, a catch basin can be poured on site using 4000 psi concrete with steel rebar reinforcement. A cast iron surface grate and frame can be placed on top and secured with a concrete collar with a width of 6 inches or more. When piped to the nearest drain line, new catch basins can eliminate standing water puddles that are a major headache to property owners and managers.
